Research

  • Together with dermatologists from the American University of Beirut Medical Center and the Lebanese American University Medical Center, we are conducting a study to reveal what correlation there is between skin irritations and certain sea pollutants.
  • In January of 2018, we contributed to writing a guide book about biodiversity in the Red Sea. Publishing date TBA.

The Floating Laboratory of Action & Theory At Sea met with Archipelagos - Institute of Marine Conservation on board the Aegean Explorer to discuss and lay foundations for bringing closer the social sciences of the sea and the marine sciences for the protection of the natural environment and the cultural wealth of the Mediterranean communities.
